Commission for :iconcall-me-hobo:, who asked for she and her wonderful boyfriend. (They pretty much win the All-Time Best Smile Award: Couples category.) When they were in school together, he made her a card that said "Love is friendship set on fire", with an unstruck match taped to it. She chose to strike. :)

I realized that I tend to draw a lot of couples with their eyes closed. It's not that I don't love drawing eyes, I guess it just usually feels right to me when they're closed. Feels like extra-contentment.
