Fanart for a friend's old-west Toy Story fic (which she's since taken down); our heroes chillin' at Buzz's bar, the Western Gateway.
Bo was a total hassle. She started off casual and ended up all stiff and prim, which sort of works for her character, kind of? But not that severe. But then, my favorite western is Angel and the Badman -- there's a lot to be said for the rough, gruff cowboy falling for a good girl.
Bargirl!Jessie is the shit. She packs a pistol and a punch, I'm sure. Woe betide the dude who gets fresh with her. I really love letting her hair down.
Buzz, the proprietor, is a big gent. Heart of a lion, soul of a puppy. Willing to give anybody the benefit of the doubt.
And Sheriff Woody, well... He's had some hard knocks. Taken some slugs, taken down more than a few of the lawless. Does what a man has to do. In his heart, I think he'd like to chuck this gig and settle down with a good woman, maybe a certain woman, maybe raise some horses. Live the life. Until then, he'll keep things safe around Redemption.
