Next prompt in the Hatter25 challenge: "green".

I went looking for an excuse to draw Reggie good n' pissed off. Every good Disney hero has to battle some formidable enemy at some point, right? I'm sure the Tulgey Wood would have a nasty creeping prickly vine roaming around it somewhere, and a certain curious girl would need saving. The cricket bat is a nod to my failed attempt at a Jamie Hewlett-style Hatter.

Without realizing it, I totally ganked off this beautiful piece by :iconbri-chan:, but I went to all the trouble of drawing a new background (rather than using one of my endlessly recycled old patterns), and dammit, I'm stickin' with it.

Props to :iconbri-chan:; Reggie is her Hatter.

you do know that the mad hatter is based off the fact that back in the day when they made top hats, they used mercury to form and keep the hats and after wearing the hats and sweating in them, the mercury seeped into their systems and they went crazy... hence the mad hatter.... random fact from a trip to Mackinac island, MI.. :)

Holy hell woman. I didn't even know Reg could LOOK that hot. I've always drawn him with crazy/goofy/lovestruck expressions, but this makes me want to draw him all heroic and manly. :heart: Hell I'm tempted to show this to some of the Hatter guys at the park. :D

I also feel spoiled. I'm amazed to think that you intend to do 25 of these. I mean, I just don't deserve this much beautiful fanart!
