So there's an episode of The Simpsons where we see Krusty the Clown dolls being assembled in a sweatshop in China, and on the wall is this mural of a dead-eyed Krusty in the style of old communist propaganda posters.

My husband remarked once that he'd love to have that poster to hang up at work -- he works for the military, in a field that focuses on countries that happen to have a history of communism, which I think he loves unironically. So I decided to paint him this for Christmas, and added the "WORK" to, you know, motivate the troops. C:

Given how I'm a major procrastinator, I think I'd like to have this at work too... and in my bedroom... and in the kitchen. Might wallpaper my whole house in it lol.

krusty the kommunist......................

why does the military STILL keep tabs and reports on communist countries? in case they forgot or been spending too much time in underground bunkers the cold ware is OVER. communism is about as much of a threat these days as the boogeyman or smallpox.

then again if it wasn't for that your lovey-dovey hubby would be out of a job unless he found another passion to keep him occupied and paid.
