An Apple Tree In Three Acts

This isn't finished -- I want to ink and color it. But today, it is exactly what it needs to be.

For Tom, event of my next life, and for Celeste.

One of the many words that could cover this
drawing.

Makes me think of the song "my heart is an apple" .. I think it's by the arcade fire...
I love it.

Run-on sentences deal with it.

Lovely work. His expression looks so peaceful and his whole face is gorgeous. Also, I like the tree branches stemming from the heart. Very nice work. I like it like this- in pencils, it looks very soft and warm with the orange-brown tone.

This is so beautiful! I love how you draw leaves, they look sort of thick, and real. Cant wait to see it colored!

Thank you for seeing that in me.

It's beautiful because he's beautiful.

Almost everything you draw just...what's the word? Exudes wisdom. This is no different. (Though, I could say that about most things you say as well, but that's off-topic at the moment.)

Anyway, this is really just a lovely piece. I adore how the branches just seem to naturally grow from the man's heart, which looks accurate but beautiful at the same time. His expression is something I can't fully read-I have a hunch, but I can't really say what he's feeling. But, for this, I'd say it works. (I'm guessing this is a personal piece, hence as such?)

Pah. I've gone on and rambled again. My sincerest apologies! So I concluded this with a finishing statement about this fine work of art. It's overall a very wise and very mellow piece, and I love it. :3

Thank you. I really dig the look of bunches of leaves, but it's such a pain to draw them individually. It's a nice payoff, though.

I'm glad you like this, and I'm so flattered that you see wisdom in the things I draw. I hope I deserve that kind of praise.

I think you understand. It's what it means to you that matters to you, anyway. It will mean something different for him.
