One of my favorite photos ever is one of Cindy Sherman's doll pieces. I know her work is supposed to be sort of disturbing, but I thought that one was so sweet and sensual. You see photos of food and flowers and sofas and sink fixtures with these sensuous curves, and realize almost anything can be sexy if you look at it the right way.

These aren't really supposed to be sexy, just a couple of characters who are very comfortable with each other, cuddling. I'm amazed by how expressive these dolls are, their charming little hands and ears and mouths. I kind of don't like that this has to go into the "Still Life" category, because I feel a lot of natural movement in them.

Obviously I don't know squat about low-light photography, but. I was just having some fun. I took a bunch of others, and you can see them (and the full versions of these) on my Flickr set.
