So I broke down and watched Legend, and that same night had a vividly romantic dream about Tim Curry as Darkness. As you do. I can't be the only good girl who has a crush on the devil, can I?
I didn't care for the movie aside from Darkness, and was especially put off by the character Lily, so I wondered who would be appropriate to pair with His Evilness. Saint Agape (of Barbucci & Canepa's Sky Doll) just kind of inserted herself, and she's perfect. She's an embodiment of goodness and sacrifice, of sensuality and a pure heart -- and they still have things in common. If Darkness is going to fall in love with someone, I want it to cripple him. I want him to be completely defeated by her. I want him to give in. That's what good love does to you. I would almost guarantee that these two have never been drawn on the same paper together. I also almost guarantee (less confidently) that this is the last time I'll be drawing Darkness. But I said that about Bowie, so. You never know. materials: pencil, paper, PS7 music: Gigi, "Nafekeñ" |

The portray of breaking him down and having him "fall in love" is very fascinating in this piece. I'm really not sure of the character that you're talking about [maybe because I've never heard of her], but I will trust your judgement.
Beautiful design of the crown, very beautiful and discriptive of their love.

also...john denver's "All This Joy" very nearly made me cry while i looked at this...for a Devil, a creature so cruel to have a gentle lamb to love him after a hard day of being evil...i've always liked those kinds of tales ~shrugs~

There's only a few true vampires and no Cullens are on that list. Besides, Jareth the Goblin King is the only one who can pull off OMGMANSPARKLES!!! and still be considered believably wicked.
