Ben Cumberbatch in a peacoat. Who doesn't look sort of regal in a peacoat? Have we had this discussion before?

The halo isn't really significant, just that I tend to want to throw a halo on everyone I ever draw. It looks appropriate, and he seems like such a nice fellow, so. I regret nothin'.

It's rare that I have an image I want to put down and then just sit and do it exactly. It always feels like such an accomplishment. This is one of those, and it's something I've wanted to draw for years, not necessarily Cumberbatch, but somebody standing that way. Finally it's done, and I don't have to think about it anymore.

The halo is lovely. I have been meaning to draw a portrait with a halo myself and have yet to get around to it. You've inspired me to get on that asap! lol
